You can use our adopted road gazetteer for the Nottinghamshire class of roads. The first letter in the road number is called the class. Permission is not required for unclassified roads (U). The gazetteer does NOT include un-adopted roads. Contact the landowner to find out if your street is not listed. Permission is typically granted by the street manager. The Land Registry should confirm who owns the land.
